CZECH LOOKING TO MAKE MARK

All summer he was the biggest question mark on the Medicine Hat Tigers’ roster.

In many ways, he still is.

But the big question of whether Marek Langhamer would show up in town was finally answered last week.
Langhamer practised with the team Friday and Saturday, then played in half of Sunday’s 8-4 exhibition win against Lethbridge.

“We were optimistic the whole time,” said Tigers head coach and general manager Shaun Clouston. “There’s lots of things with Europeans that have to come together to make it happen. Visas and paperwork, organizing travel.

“We believed that he would be here. He’s here in lots of time to be ready for the season.”
