During each month, Tigers fans can nominate the player they deem most deserving, while also entering to win free Tigers merchandise.

During the month of January, Etem lit up the scoresheet scoring 17 goals and adding 3 assists over 11 games upon returning from the World Junior Championships. Over the month, he had 5 multigoal games including hat tricks against the Lethbridge Hurricanes and Red Deer Rebels.
Etem, a 19 year old from Long Beach, CA, is playing in his third season in the Western Hockey League. Originally selected 115th overall in the 2007 WHL Bantam Draft, Etem joined the Tigers at the start of the 2009-10 WHL season. To date, he has appeared in 182 career WHL regular season games collecting 129 goals, 97 assists for 226 points.
Last season, Etem was second in Tiger scoring with 45 goals and 80 points.
The Anaheim Ducks selected Etem in the 1st round (29th overall) in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
