VS PRINCE GEORGE: This is the first of two meetings this season between the Tigers and Cougars. Last season, Medicine Hat posted a 2-0-0-0 record versus the Cougars (0-0-0-0 at home and 2-0-0-0 in Prince George). Leading the way for the Tigers were forwards Hunter Shinkaruk (5G, 0A) and Emerson Etem (0G, 5A) with five points each in two games. Tyler Bunz (2-0-0-0) started both games in net and allowed three goals (1.50 GAA) on 54 shots (.944 Save %). On the power play the Tigers went 1 for 3 (33.3%), while killing off 5 of 6 Cougars’ opportunities (83.3%).

Boston Leier has 50 career points in sight. He currently has 17 goals and 30 assists for 47 points in 131 games. Jacob Doty and Derek Ryckman both recently passed the 300 PIM plateau.
