VS EDMONTON: This is the second of six meetings this season between the Tigers and Oil Kings. The Tigers lost the previous meeting 4-2 in Medicine Hat. Forwards Miles Koules and Elgin Pearce were the goal scorers for the Tigers. Marek Langhamer (0-1-0-0) got the start in net and allowed four goals (4.17 GAA) on 21 shots (.810 Save %). On the power play the Tigers went 1 for 9 (11.1%), while killing off 2 of 3 Oil Kings’ opportunities (66.7%).

Curtis Valk and Dylan Bredo are also both closing in on 50 career assists. Valk currently sits with 47 assists and Bredo is only one behind him at 46. Jacob Doty and Derek Ryckman both recently passed the 300 PIM plateau.
