Saturday 03.10.12 / 02:03 PMMarch 9th marked the 43rd anniversary of fire that destroyed the Arena Gardens. The current Medicine Hat Arena was completed just 19 months later. Discussions for construction of a new Regional Event Centre for Medicine Hat began following the flood of 1995, and continue to this day.
