The Medicine Hat Tigers have reduced their roster by one player, sending 16-year-old defenceman Ty Stanton back to the St. Albert Raiders of the Alberta Midget Hockey League.

The 6'3" 173 lb blueliner earned a long look this preseason, playing well in a number of contests.

Stanton recorded 1 goal and 6 assists for the AMHL's St. Albert Raiders in 31 games played last season, while racking up 75 penalty minutes.

With this move, the Tigers roster now stands at twenty-nine players including sixteen forwards, ten defenceman and three goalies. Eight players are currently away from the team attending NHL training camp.
