Medicine Hat, AB - The PARKCITY TOYOTA - Medicine Hat Tigers Player of the Week for the week of October 1-7, 2007 is forward Wacey Hamilton.

Wacey earned player of the week honours by regeristing five points (1G, 4A) in the Tigers three games this past week.

On Tuesday, October 2nd, Wacey recorded three assists in helping the Tigers defeat the visiting Prince Albert Raiders 6-2.

After being held scoreless against the Calgary Hitmen on Friday, October 5th, Wacey responded the next night with a goal and an assist to lead the Tigers to a 4-1 victory over the Moose Jaw Warriors.

Wacey, who is from Cochrane, AB, was acquired by the Tigers in an off-season trade with the Vancouver Giants and currently sits tied for third in team scoring with six points (1G, 5A) and has a plus/minus rating of +3.

Honourable mention goes to fellow rookie Sean Ringrose.
